Someone has left what appears to be an LS intake manifold and one of the matching exhaust manifolds laying around our CT lab for a week now. (EcoTec3 V8... not sure if 5.3 or 6.2L.) I wonder if they’ll notice if it just walks off.

yes, yes they would........... they probably had to leave suddenly, after a heavy round of banging their head against the wall, trying to figure out how they can package it to make it all fit...........

Yeah I honestly have no idea what we were doing with these. I don’t know if GM paid us to do something with them or if another automaker got their hands on them and wants do something with them or if it is a supplier or even something else all together. They just showed up one day and the engineer who scanned them said they were dropped off with no further info. I looked at it and said “Ooh an GM LS motor manifold!” His reply was basically “How the hell do you know this? All I could figure was it came from a car.” I was disappointed. We get a lot of random car parts through here, though.

But that is quite fairly obvious that at least the manifold is GM LS motor. And depending on the stamped number on the shield and exhaust manifold being 8 digits you could guess it’s GM (all their part numbers are 8 digits btw).
